Millennials are the predominant demographic in the workforce. They have a great desire to become wealthy and hence tend to overwork themselves trying to make more money. This leads to a variety of mental issues, such as stress and depression. Such psychological problems can cause an array of other medical conditions. The solution to this is finding a way to prevent them from overworking. Working is essential, but not as important as health.

Binge Drinking

Millennials seem to love alcohol a little too much. A majority of them drink regularly. The quantity of alcohol that they take is also more than the average recommended amount. Many health problems are associated with excessive alcohol consumption. Examples include liver cirrhosis and depression. Moderate drinking or avoiding alcohol is probably the best solution.

Promiscuity

The general behavior among millennials has also led to a variety of health issues. Having multiple sexual partners without any commitments and regards to health has led to the spread of sexually transmitted diseases among them. Given the nature of STDs, they shy away from getting early treatment which worsens the situation. The solution to the problem should include extensive awareness campaigns.

Overusing Electronic Devices

Millennials spend a lot of their time staring at computer or smartphone screens. Irrespective of whether it is job-related or just for fun, staring at the bright screens for too long leads to eye problems and headaches. There are screen settings that are designed to minimize the harmful effects, but still, extended exposure leads to problems over time. Other problems caused by prolonged use of computers include backaches and neck pains. This is due to improper sitting postures while using computers.
